March 6, 2002 -- Rosseter Holdings, a Cyprus-based maker of carbon
nanotubes and nanohorns, appointed David Tomanek chairman of its
board.
Tomanek, a physics professor, has written more than 150 publications
in scientific journals and holds several patents related to nanotechnology.
Rosseter said it would benefit from Tomanek's input into management,
research and development, as well as introductions to potential
customers for nanotubes around the world.
The firm said applications for its nanotubes and nanohorns include
batteries for electronic devices, nanocomposites, fuel cells and
electron emitters for flat-panel displays.
